Corners

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.

So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor.

Catch the trade winds in your sails.

Explore. Dream. Discover."

Mark Twain

When you visit a corner of this world, instead of looking straight in front of you and see what everybody else sees, knee, look back, raise your head, and watch again. Close your eyes and smell. And listen. Leave the monuments to the postcard makers, go to the bar around the corner and sit among those old people playing cards and sipping a wine they only know it's really worth drinking. Merge into the crowd, listen to its sound, touch as much as possible. Only then you could say you have seen a little bit of that corner of the world.
